Twice upon a time...

Family Time

Last week was a busy week for our family.  Papa came to visit.  Grand Den + Gra Su too.  Then mom + Brittany flew back to NY.  Back to 3.5' of snow.  Meanwhile back in the sunshine state, the heavens blessed us with cloudless skies in the mid 70s.  Ahhh....

K+A were able to take Grand Den + Gra Su on a grand tour of some of their favorite places to go.  There's the clubhouse playground (aka 'green playground'),  the clubhouse pool, wakodahatchee wetlands (which Gra Su loved!), regional fields park (aka 'sand playground'), and of course the beach... with a playground!  They scootered on the sidewalks, blew bubbles, sang songs, colored with crayons, and showed their grandparents exactly who became a big girl.

The twinkies were so happy to play with their Gra Su and Grand Den in the swimming pool.  Gra Su especially liked how good her back felt after soaking in the jacuzzi.  I enjoyed bringing a basket packed for a poolside picnic to a bunch of sun drenched people.  Nothing quite like swimming to make people hungry!

The only bummer happened before the busy week.  My digital camera got sand in its eye and doesn't work anymore X(.  I didn't take a single picture.  And won't be able to for at least a while.  It would've been nice to have taken some pics while we were hanging at the pool.  Instead, I took a pic -- with my mind (good thing I brought it with me :) and I'll cherish the moment in my heart, under the category "family time".

Until then, check out the new outfit I got on this blog!  See new fun accessories on the sidebar,  click at one of the previous post suggestions, or just click at anything that might be clickable (like wakodahatchee wetlands above, if ya missed it :)  If you really liked a particular post, there's now a new 'comments' feature beneath each new post.  Don't forget to 'join our village' by becoming a follower.  That will connect you with others in 'our village' and share the twinkie's love.
...So we grew together
Like to a double cherry, seeming parted,
But yet an union in partition,
Two lovely berries moulded on one stem...
