Just gotta give a big shout out to all the teachers who coordinated this field trip.
The day went smoothly.  The kids were well behaved.  Fun was had by all... woot!

Yesterday would have been Lolo Bal's 102 birthday,
while Lola Ester would've been 100 on 1/1/11!

...and one more cool thing happened today.
The space shuttle Discovery blasted off for the its last flight a couple of hours due north of us.

Rainbow Butterfly

"I wish... I was a rainbow butterfly"

Grand Den & Gra Su spent the day with their grandtwins doing all sorts of fun things together. They went to the Garlic Festival at Delray Beach, rode lots of carnival rides,
and got these awesome facepaintings.

To make a wish come true, whisper it to a Butterfly.

Upon these wings it will be taken to heaven and granted, 

for they are the messengers of the Great Spirit
