Just us girls - mom, her three daughters, and four grand-daughters.

Beads

Anakai really enjoys making bead necklaces and bracelets.

Watching. Smiling. Loving.

They've developed this sweet twin sister 'trading' system that even works for contrary-Kacia and drama queen-Anakai. When one grows jealous of a bead the other has (which is often), they'll hastily scrap through and grab something - anything - to 'trade'. The soft suggestion of "Here you go" quickly becomes a demanding "Share! Share! Share!!"

Seaside Heights

That's right. New Jersey.


Salutations to the sea!


We decided to head for the Jersey Shore (joy-zee show-ah) for an impromptu pre-summer family get-away.


It is there they discovered the joyz of beach toys.


And just how much fun it is to climb the lifeguard chair.


The sun kept hiding behind clouds.

The cool beach breezes barely reached 70 degrees.


But nothing can stop Kacia from kissing papa.


All done with the breezy beach.


Lets run on the empty boardwalk.


Then jump in the heated pool




Anakai loves being in the water.
